Blue Lock Season 2 revealed preview images for episode 5 on Friday. The episode titled “FLOW” will be released on Saturday, November 2. Studio 8bit is handling the animation production while Crunchyroll is streaming the anime with English subtitles. Check out the preview images below:

After last week’s Reo episode, the matches will continue as the story inches closer to the Japan U-20 matchup. Despite the heavy criticism the season is facing due to animation production setbacks, Blue Lock Season 2 still manages to hold steady in the Anime Corner Weekly Top 10 polls.
Blue Lock Season 2 Staff and Cast
Yuuji Haibara is working as the director and a CG director for Blue Lock Season 2. He drew the storyboard for episode 9 of Blue Lock season one and was a storyboard assistant for eight other episodes. Taku Kishimoto is reprising his role, handling the series composition and script. Blue Lock Season 2 episode 5 will be released on November 2, 2024.
Blue Lock Manga
Blue Lock is an anime adaptation of the original manga series written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura which began publishing in 2018 under Weekly Shonen Magazine. The manga has over 40 million copies in circulation as of September 2024, making it one of the best-selling manga of all time.
The series currently has 31 volumes published. No release date has been set for Volume 32. Kodansha USA is publishing the manga in English and currently has the first 27 volumes out.
